BDS_ENABLED
Setting X in column Value from, loads the Excel master template (Allevo Master) from the SAP BDS (Business Document Service).
In column Value to a symbolic file name can also be specified: with this name the Allevo Master must be found in the BDS (field “Description” of the document). The data can be uploaded to BDS via the SAP transaction OAOR or through Allevo-specific functions (for more details see the manual “Allevo & SAP”).
If the constant is activated but no entry is available in column Value to, Allevo automatically sets a symbolic file name using the current parameters in the planning layout. Parameters can be, for example: controlling area, object type, layout or cost center groups (possible if predefined in Allevo settings). The same is applicable for the constant FILE_TEMPLATE.
NOTE: If both constants are simultaneously active, the constant FILE_TEMPLATE has higher priority.
When loading the Allevo Master during the planning process, a local copy is created automatically for the further processing; therefore, the master should be saved in BDS in XLSM format (and not XLTM).
