Ledger in Cost Center Planning and Profit Center Integration

LEDGER

The constant is used if an individual ledger shall be applied when reading the data during cost center planning or in the course of profit center integration.

·         An entry in column Value from is relevant for reading within CO planning (e.g. during cost center planning). By default, Allevo uses the ledger “00“.

·         An entry in column Value to is relevant for an Allevo transaction for object type PC, for posting and cancellation functions in FP and for the reading via profit center integration in a CO layout (row definition P). The following standard values apply for the ledger:

o    “8A“ with the classical general ledger (reading from table GLPCT)

o    “0L“ with new general ledger (reading from FAGLFLEXT)

In special cases, it may be useful to read data via multiple ledgers simultaneously: entries must then be made as comma-separated list.

Planning in the new general ledger: With the NGL, Allevo uses the entry in Value to also for posting planned values. If multiple ledgers are stored here as comma-separated list, posting will be performed using the ledger named first.

Note

When working with the classical general ledger, Allevo uses Bach Input functions, where the transactions called, such as 7KE1, define the ledger themselves (thus “8A“).

From Allevo 3.4, the entry in column Value to is relevant also for the additional module ProCED if profit center data shall be read in deviation from the standard ledger (entry in * layout).
