Generating Files via /KERN/IPPKSM

Transaction /KERN/IPPKSM is used to execute Allevo in the MultiPage mode: this function generates e.g. one worksheet per cost center within one cost center group and calls the Excel planning file in the dialog mode. 

If the constant MULTIFILE is active, files are instead generated in the background serving as a basis for offline planning (thus, Excel will not be called in the dialog anymore). The function generates one Excel file for each cost center (or order), and automatically saves it in a folder in the network. This requires an appropriate download path to be set via SAP transaction FILE.

The use of the MultiFile is recommended if SAP access is not available to planners, and the planning is to be carried out in Excel instead.

The constant is activated by entering X in column Value from.

Solution for version 3.1 and later

In current versions of Allevo, the described function is completely covered by the Allevo transactions for offline planning (e.g. transaction /KERN/IPP_OFFL_GEN; for further details see the manual).
