Authorization Check of Cost Elements

NO_KSTAR_CHECK

Allevo version 2.7 and later checks for each cost element requested by Excel, if the user is authorized to read the data. This check is stored in all object types; contents of the checks are described in the Allevo SAP manual (see section “Authorization checks during planning”).

Depending on the type of implementation of the customized authorization check, this feature may have a negative impact on performance.

For this reason, the authorization check can be deactivated using the constant NO_KSTAR_CHECK (from release 2.7.15). If the constant is set (X in column Value from), the authorization check of cost elements will be skipped.
