Deactivate Data Check of Satellites

By default, a few tests are performed prior to reading satellites in order to ensure that data can be saved correctly. This is done to avoid that incorrect field definitions trigger error messages on the VBA page; e.g. the length of a decimal area must in any case exceed the number of decimal places.

The constant NO_SATFIELD_CHECK serves to deactivate the data check in the satellite. This leads to the generation of messages being forced on the side of SAP. This may be very useful if a detailed error analysis is required.
