Display Authorization Trace

OWN_AUTH_TRACE

* from Allevo version 3.0

Allevo possesses its own authorization check, which is applied e.g. if SAP authorizations cannot be sufficiently limited or if the administration of the access authorization is to be performed by the Controlling. This authorization control is activated in the corresponding Allevo planning layout using the constant AUTHORIZATION (see also notes there).

Given the complexity of the Allevo authorization check, an overview of the checks that are to be performed can be very useful. The constant OWN_AUTH_TRACE activates one such authorization trace: for one, several or all users. A protocol is then generated and displayed once the planning transaction is launched (button |Execute planning|).

The constant OWN_AUTH_TRACE is activated by entering X in column Value from: the trace then applies to all users; alternatively, if an SAP user name is specified, the trace applies only to this user (or several names if required, separated by comma).

The constant may NOT be active when calling from the ABC.

Note:

When applying the trace function in the Allevo MultiPage, the check is performed for the start object and for each individual page: thus, several logs appear sequentially.

Further details on the authorization check (including the example of the trace) can be found in the Allevo manual. The trace is only accessible for the version of the authorization check introduced in Allevo 3.0 (entry 3 in column Value from of the constant AUTHORIZATION).
