BAPI Test Mode Before Planning

If the constant PLAN_TESTRUN is active, the related SAP BAPI is first called in test mode before planning. If any errors occur, the whole planning activity will be canceled, and a corresponding program message will be displayed.

The constant is activated via X in column Value from. 

Note:

The test mode increases the duration of the planning activity in SAP BAPI. This should be considered when carrying out the performance analysis.
