This constant is to be set only in particular performance cases. It allows reading out in blocks, as well as transferring big amounts of data from SAP to Excel.

The number of lines which should be transferred to Excel during the process is to be entered in column Value from. Normally, all the read lines are transferred „en bloc“. If the amount of the specified lines is smaller than the amount of the lines that shall be transferred, the amount of read data will be disassembled into blocks. The transfer is thus performed in blocks. As a result, the amount of data to be transferred via the SAP-Excel interface will be reduced, and performance will be improved for systems with little working memory.

However, an opposite effect can also occur. If the Excel interface is called too often, the overhead emerges slowing down Allevo.  

If this constant is set, an attempt will be additionally made in MOM not to let the amount of data available in SAP exceed substantially the size of the transferred blocks. This also reduces the data load on the SAP server.
