Supplement Master Data on the Planning Object

READ_ELEMENT_DATA

* from Allevo version 3.4

Background: Constant MAP_FIELDxx offers the possibility in Allevo to transfer information from SAP master records to Excel (xx = consecutive numbering, the ten fields MAP_FIELD1 to MAP_FIELD10 are specifically available). This information is by default transferred to the starting object or in the MultiPage mode for the main project on each sheet. The information has so far been missing with Allevo offering a list of objects for planning in the MultiObject mode. This may, however, be useful in many cases.

Example:

When planning via multiple cost centers, the allocated functional area shall be displayed in each Excel planning row (field FUNC_AREA of table CSKS).

Constant READ_ELEMENT_DATA provides all features MAP_FIELDxx also for objects in the MultiObject mode. Transfer is performed using comment columns (similar as for constant READ_ELEMENT_TEXTS for the transfer of texts). The corresponding column definition (years) must be stored in the Allevo settings.

Activate constant READ_ELEMENT_DATA by entering this column definition in column Value from (list separated by comma in case that several information shall be transferred). Simultaneously, the desired contents must be defined in MAP_FIELD1, MAP_FIELD2 and so on. The first column definition transfers the content of MAP_FIELD1 the second references to MAP_FIELD2 and so on. Example:

·         Constant MAP_FIELD1 is prepared for reading an information from CSKS (see corresponding F1 documentation).

·         Column definition CY_R9 is created for the current layout (possibly with option „Read only comment“) and entered in constant READ_ELEMENT_DATA.

·         CY_R9_N is used in the Allevo Master to obtain the desired information for each cost center.

Note:

As long as there is an information available comprehensively, Allevo considers also changes of the object type. Example on the functional area of the cost center: CSKS-FUNC_AREA shall be transferred as information. Apart from cost centers, also orders are included on the side of Excel: Allevo identifies the corresponding cost center for each order and from that the functional area.
