Read Reference Data when Opening Allevo |
|
READ_ON_OPEN
This constant determines whether reference data are automatically read, and when. Two basic functions may be adjusted:
The entry X in column Value from specifies that reference data are directly transferred to Excel when opening Allevo planning.
The entry should therefore be set in most application cases, since planning without reference data hardly makes any sense. Exception: Constant READ_ON_OPEN should not be set if the Tree is activated (see also constant OBJ_SEL_IN_EXCEL).
Entry X in column Value to automatically updates data of single columns in the Allevo Master once plan data have been transferred to SAP. This applies only to columns with column definitions holding an update type.
In previous Allevo versions, this function was only available for annual columns. From Allevo 3.0.5, also period columns are updated.

Note: |
Updating after saving planning data via Value to may be useful, for example, for planning activity inputs. The planned quantities are transferred to SAP and evaluated on the basis of the prices defined there. After being updated, the Allevo Master also shows the activity allocation value. For this update after saving planning data, an update type must be specified for at least one column definition. Otherwise, an error message “No column definition available” appears. If the function of combining and reading actual data is activated for period planning via the constant YEAR1_PERIOD (Value to), CX_RR must correlate with the refresh-type of CM_R1 (otherwise a message “CX_RR not available” appears). |
