Other Authorization Objects for WBS elements

RIGHT_OBJECT_PSP

There are several possibilities in SAP to control planning authorizations for projects and WBS elements; there are, however, there are no authorization objects available where the project/WBS number can be stored (only organizational authorizations).

The Allevo standard in general checks the authorization object C_PROJ_TCD (work area project system) with the characteristics PSARG = 0131 (planned costs) and TRTYP = A (display) and V (change). Another authorization object intended by SAP may be activated for the check in Allevo via constant RIGHT_OBJECT_PSP. All checks refer to parameters from the master record of the WBS element or project.

Enter the relevant authorization object in column Value from; supported are:

· C_PRPS_VNR (or C_PROJ_VNR): reference to the person in charge in the master record

· C_PRPS_KST (or C_PROJ_KST): request for cost center

· C_PRPS_PRC (or C_PROJ_PRC): request for profit center

· C_PRPS_KOK (or C_PROJ_KOK): request for controlling area

· C_PRPS_ART: request for project type (corresponding to master record of the WBS)

Allevo itself recognizes an authorization object entered with reference to a project (see specifications in brackets) and automatically identifies the belonging reference parameter from the master record of the project (PROJ).  

If the relevant reference parameter cannot be found in the master record (e.g. no profit center stored upon request for authorization object C_PRPS_PRC), the authorization check will not be successful.

Depending on the call, the characteristic PS_ACTVT = 23 (edit cost planning) must be stored on the authorization object and 24 (display costs) in the role of the user, in newer versions also check on 25 and 26 for revenues. 

Note:

In the case that request is performed by the person in charge, a special treatment is required (authorization object C_PRPS_ VNR). Here, the entry in the master record of the WBS element must not correspond to the current user. Instead, the role of the current user defines the person in charge that it is equivalent to (the current user may then perform planning for all WBS elements assigned there).  Consequently, a person in charge is for this authorization object entered as characteristic PS_VERNR (or multiple) This is also effective for the level of the project via C_PROJ_VNR.  Diese Regel gilt gleichbedeutend natürlich auch für Ebene des Projektes über C_PROJ_VNR.
