Activate Status Management for the Planning Layout

STATUS

* effective from version 2.0 (extended in 3.1)

The constant may control two functions for the status management:

(1) Maintain status depending on the layout (via “Value from”)

(2) Give planners access to the status management (via “Value to“)

Both functions may be activated independently from each other.

To (1): Maintain status depending on the layout

This constant allows to maintain the planning status of an object depending on the planning layout. Activation is performed by entry X in column Value from.

Note:

If the constant is not activated, a general status (* status) applies. It may be modified using any planning layout where the constant has not been activated. Please pay attention to the status management display to check whether the status is maintained dependent on the layout or as general status. An adjustment in the planning can also lead to a change in status processing: during the transition from a specific status to a cross-layout status (the constant is deactivated) the previous status information should of course blend together. Transaction /KERN/IPP_STATUS_MERGE can be useful here (from version 3.0).

To (2): Give planners access to the status management

By default, only the employee group Status manager or Administrator have access to the status management. An entry in Value to gives access to the status management also for planners (employees that have Allevo authorization ZIPP_PLA only). The following entries are possible:  

· X allows to display objects in the status management and to set status 4. The planner can see only objects that he holds at least one reading authorization for.

· Upon entry of E in column Value to, the planner may modify the status for his objects in any desired way (and not only set status 4). Displaying the objects in this case requires a planning authorization.

The selected object may be adopted in the Allevo start screen by double-clicking on a row in the status management.

Call: In both cases, the button |Status management| appears in the upper area of the Allevo start transaction.

New from version 3.1:

The planner may change the status for his objects by entering E in column Value to.
