Send Email after Planning Release

STATUS_SEND_EMAIL

The planner documents that the planning is completed using the button |Close Planning| in the Allevo planning interface. The status then changes to “Closed” for the currently selected objects. No changes can then be made by the planner.

By means of the status information, employees of the Controlling may monitor the course of the current planning in the status management. The Allevo planning calendar may serve for the Controlling to evaluate the status in order to contact responsible employees when planning is overdue.

In single cases, it may also be useful to inform the Controlling directly via e-mail once planning is closed (if e.g. further testing steps are intended directly afterwards). Such an e-mail contains a list of just closed objects.

This e-mail notification is activated by entering X in column Value from of the constant STATUS_SEND_EMAIL. A list of e-mail recipients (separated by comma) may be entered in column Value to. These recipients may be specified optionally as e-mail addresses or names of the SAP users (if the e-mail addresses are stored in master record).

Note:

An e-mail is only created once the planning is released via button |Close planning|  (change to status 04); but not if changes are made in status management. SAP Connect must be active for this function. A log of the e-mail reports sent can be found in transaction SOST.
