Switch Sign before the Display in Excel |

SWITCH_SIGN
* from Allevo version 2.9.39
In the SAP Controlling module, the following sign rules apply to amount fields: costs have a positive sign, revenues a negative sign. Some customers, however, use a reversed sign during planning (i.e. revenues positive, costs negative).
The constant SWITCH_SIGN meets these requirements: each time data are read or written in SAP, the sign is reversed (has been previously solved partly by macros on the side of Excel).
The constant is activated by entering X in column Value from.
All fields containing values are then inverted (but not quantity fields)
|
Note: |
In the Allevo interface between SAP and the Excel Master, there is no such precise separation between fields with values and quantities for period values. Whether an inversion should take place or not is in this case controlled by the row definition (not active in row definitions A, B, F, I, J, L, O and P, or Q and R in case of the profit center). |
* new from version 3.0
It is now possible to explicitly define column and row definitions for the inversion (input is a comma-separated list). Controlling parameters are:
• In column “Value from“, the list of relevant column definitions is possibly entered; a single “X‘ activates all of them.
• In column “Value to“, it is the list of relevant row definitions; a single ‚X‘ activates all of them.
