The planning object that is specified in the start screen in Allevo is not always the actual planning object. It is often only representative.

Example:

In case of COPA planning in Allevo, a representative object is often used to start Allevo planning, e.g. an internal order created for this purpose. In this case, it will of course be clearer for the user, if an appropriate characteristic from COPA is already stated in the Allevo start screen.

The constant TEXT_OBJTYPE defines which alternative texts should be used. A text in column Value from will be displayed on the Allevo start screen before the object: thus, in the start screen of transaction /KERN/IPPKS, the term “cost center” will be replaced by this text.

In column Value to, you may enter a text that will later appear in the heading of the transaction.

Note:

It is possible to maintain language specific texts; the relevant constant for language EN would be TEXT_OBJTYPE_EN.
