Parameters for the Start with Allevo own Object Type

VIRT_OBJECT_CAT

Background: Via the Allevo own object type „KX = Allevo Object“, it is possible to completely display planning processes regardless of known SAP objects.  Allevo own master data are maintained for this object type, with each master record being assigned to an own object category (3-digit key).

Constant VIRT_OBJECT_CAT defines the object category that shall be used when working in the current layout. Two effects:

· Depending on this entry, the interface of the planning transaction may be different (e.g. text with description of the object category).

· The F4 value documentation in the start transaction shows only entries of this category.

The ID for the object category must be specified in field Value from of the constant.

By entering X in column Value to, it is further possible to additionally assign an authorization to create an Allevo object directly from the start screen of planning. Procedure in this case: the user enters an invalid object number, a confirmation prompt appears for the new creation of data and then possibly master data are entered for the Allevo object.
