Monthly Data, 2nd Year („Compact Variant“)

YEAR2_PERIOD

With the “compact” method of monthly planning it is possible to plan 12 or 24 months in monthly intervals (the standard method of monthly planning in versions preceding 3.0).

By entering X in column Value from of the constant YEAR2_PERIOD the processing by month is activated for the second year.

The activation applies both to reading and planning the data.

Planning follows the settings in column definition CM_W2.

Reading is done according to column definition CM_R2.

Note:

If the settings of CM_R2 (reading) and CM_W2 (planning) are not identical, it may be helpful to make use of the dependency of the status of column definition CM_R2. It can be defined that from status 3 (already planned) reading is not done according to CM_R2 but for the already planned values according to the settings of CM_W2. For this purpose, column definition CM_R2 refers to column definition CM_W2 from the field status 3).

Additional feature "Activity Type Dependent Planning"

As an alternative, it is also possible to use the periods of the second year for the activity type dependent planning to exact periods – in combination with the periods of year 1 by entering X in column Value to.

The following applies:

§ Planning is only performed for the year specified in the settings of CM_W1 (!), i.e. only for 1 year.

§ The 12 periods of year 1 plan the fixed values/quantities.

§ The 12 periods of year 2 plan the variable values/quantities.

§ The variable key CM_FV1 (column definition) of year 1 must be flagged by the entry F and the corresponding year 2 key CM_FV2 by the entry V.

Only one input activity type can be specified per line. It must be identical for both years.
