Kompass 2020

Digital instead of live

Contrary to the original plan, Kern AG's largest customer event - the Kompass - did not take place at our premises in Freiburg this year as a face-to-face event, but in digital form as webinars and videos.

During the webinars, participants learned how to create their own Allevo-Master with the Master Manager, how efficient personnel planning with Head Start can be and how simple and flexible report design with the Report Painter can be. They also dealt intensively with the topic "SAP IT Controlling - Understanding and Applying Processes".
The series of lectures that was actually planned for the second day in the Konzerthaus was recorded and made available to the Kompass participants in the form of individual videos for viewing. The following topics were covered:

  • Allevo User Group - the association for Allevo users
  • Cycles - efficient overhead cost allocation
  • Sparks - Reporting made easy
  • Master Slam - exciting short lectures on the following topics
    • Summary Corner
    • Raw material price determination
    • Cost centers, orders, projects in the panel
    • Partner Manager
    • Practical example of Allevo in a small American town

Despite or perhaps because of the digital alternative programme, there were numerous registrations for this year's Kompass. We are happy and proud that we were able to convey our topics well and to so many interested people in this form, and hope that next year's event can take place again as usual at our location in Freiburg.
